“I wanted to come to camp mainly because I was here two years ago and talking about it later everyone just made it sound so fun, so I wanted to come back and have another fun experience up here and I did. I was mostly looking forward to the Granny Bread this year, I love that stuff it’s the best. I’m really happy that I came, my favorite thing was doing the shotgun merit badge. I definitely want to come back next year...but hopefully as a CIT.” ... See MoreSee Less
“The best skill I learned this week at camp was forestry because we got to look at trees, plants, and a lot of the nature around us, and we did a lot of nature hikes too. We also got to play 9-square when we were done, which is a really fun game. For the merit badge we had to collect 15 leaves and identify them and name them by the scientific name which was fun too. We had to look it up in the book using the index and for the flowers it told you the number and it listed the scientific name with it. The trees were a little harder because you had to find the actual page in the book. I want to be a DNR Officer one day, so I will use this skill in the future I think.” ... See MoreSee Less
