Program

Many Point offers an endless amount of activities for your troop to do while at camp. It is our top priority to provide you with the tools to help your troop or unit become stronger while having fun at the same time.

First Class Adventure

First Class Adventure

Our goal with the First Class Adventure program is to teach your scouts the skills they need to reach the First Class rank. Every morning during merit badge time, you'll be learning Scout skills needed to progress to the First Class rank. We cover everything from fire building to water safety.

What do I Earn?

  • Scout 4ab, 5
  • Tenderfoot 4ab, 5abc, 7a, 8
  • Second Class 1b, 2bcdfg, 4, 6abcd, 8a
  • First Class 1b, 3bcd, 5a,  7abc

Items to Bring

  • Water bottle
  • Any class materials
  • Pocket Knife (if you have a Totin’ Chip)
  • Rope (if you have any)

Adult Leader Support

At least one adult leader from each unit with Scouts enrolled in First Class Adventure should attend alongside the Scouts to help Scouts practice skills and to work continuously with them throughout the week.

We don't sign off on your scouts requirements as the Scout Book specifically mentions that a Unit Leader should do so. The accompanying adult leader will be able to assist in this effort. Additionally, once Scouts spend a week in First Class Adventure, they will be able to show you the skills and get their requirements signed off in a jiffy!
