Scouts will get into their first choices. Many Point asks for pre-registration because it helps us schedule and prepare our Camp Staff when we know class sizes ahead of time. Merit badge signups will be locked the Friday before your camp week. Scouts can change merit badges at any time – even during camp week.
Tier 1 & 2 Older Scout Programs:
Scouts will be placed by preference, then by age then rank. Tier 1 and 2 program requests will be locked the Friday before your camp week. Scouts will learn which programs they are approved when they arrive at camp. Number of programs approved varies by how many overall requests are submitted. Scouts can anticipate 2-4 of their requests approved. These programs can be done in addition to Tier 3 Older Scout programs.
Tier 3 Older Scout Programs:
Requests received April 1-14 will be placed on April 14 at noon by age then rank. SCMS will be locked on April 14 while youth are being placed. After April 14, placements will be made on a first come, first serve basis. New program requests will be reviewed on the 1st and 15th of each month thereafter.
- “Pending” = Request can be changed/hasn’t been seen or processed
- “Received” = Request is being processed and is locked
- “Approved” = Request is finished being processed and is locked
- “Declined” = Request has been declined and is locked (reason in parenthesis)
