Beyond the enjoyment of supporting, encouraging and participating in troop activities with the Scouts, there are some programs specifically for Adult Leaders as well.

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills

Scoutings hands on program to teach you the practical outdoor skills to help lead your scouts in the outdoors.

DELTA Training

Use the expertise of other Adult Leaders to implement this great skill-building program with your troop.
When: Monday mornings, 10:00 – 12:00pm
Where: Dining Hall
How Register: Just show up – can attend either both days, or either Tuesday or Wednesday.

Adult Leader Recognition Dinner

As a symbol of our thanks, we provide you with a great dinner while we take care of your Scouts.
When: Wednesday @ 5:30pm
Where: Dining Hall
How Register: Give unit headcount to commissioner upon arrival

BSA Aquatics Supervision

The Swimming & Water Rescue and Paddle Craft Safety are two certifications that enable unit leaders to safely run aquatic outings for their troops. Includes guarding skills.
When: Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 11:30am
Where: Ten Chiefs Beach
How Register: Just show up – must attend all days to pass.

Safe Swim Defense & Safety Afloat Training

Learn all the procedures for your troop to safely operate your own beach or run a float trip.
When: Monday @ 7pm
Where: Your sub-camp Lodge
How Register: Just show up – must attend all days to pass.

Adult Leader Climb

It is your turn to reach the top of the climbing tower.
When: Friday @ 9am
Where: Your sub-camp Climbing Tower
How Register: Just show up

Climb on Safely Training

Learn all the procedures for your troop to plan a climbing outing.
When: Monday @ 7pm
Where: Your sub-camp Lodge
How Register: Just show up – must attend all days to pass.

Trek on Safely Training

Learn all the procedures for your troop to plan a safe trek.
When: Monday @ 7pm
Where: Your sub-camp Lodge
How Register: Just show up – must attend all days to pass.

Flintlock Adventure Tour

See firsthand all the great things your older Scouts will do at Flintlock Adventure Base.

When: Thursday at 9:30am
Where: Your sub-camp bus stop (Bus may be 10 – 15 minutes earlier or later, your commissioner will share specific times)
How Register: Just show up – bring a camera!
