Take troop programming to a new level. Many Point’s prime location enables your troop to choose from a wide variety of activities, both outside and inside of the reservation, to be done and run independently by you.

Itasca State Park

At Many Point, you are only 35 minutes away from the start of the mighty Mississippi River. Plan an afternoon away from camp that includes exploration of this exciting park and traversing the headwaters of this great landmark. website

Back of the Moon Hike

In the 1940’s, this was the secret retreat for Many Point’s founder Wint Hartman. This special, secluded place is a 3.7 mile hike from Many Point’s main administration area. It’s not easy to get to, but it’s worth the trip.

Back of the Moon Overnight

You’ve taken the big hike, why not stay awhile? Three log Adirondack shelters are located on a crest above the lake for your troop’s use.

Troop Sauna

A trip to the north land of Minnesota is not complete without experiencing a real sauna. Work with your commissioner to reserve a night to use the sauna located at your camp’s beach.
